D4NN is currently in MVP and demo mode. The full source registry will document how every source is classified, weighted, and audited. Today, this page describes the tiering system that will power the live product.
Primary
Primary sources
Direct documents, filings, official records, and raw data. The strongest evidence — what everyone else is reporting on.
Institutional
Institutional sources
Established outlets, regulators, peer-reviewed research, and official organizations with editorial accountability and auditable methodology.
Expert
Expert sources
Domain practitioners with public track records and accountable identities. Treated as informed signal, never as proof on its own.
Social
Social sources
Open web and platform signals. Weighted lower, always cross-referenced, never sufficient alone to raise confidence.
Confidence is bounded by the weakest required link.
A claim that depends on a Social source cannot reach the confidence of a claim grounded in Primary documents — no matter how many times it is repeated. D4NN exposes that ceiling on every signal.
